This site is small but awesome. There’s not much going on here in the way of content, but the animation that transitions between pages is so unique that it will have you clicking back and forth between the three pages.

This project is the recruiting website for the Alaska Air Group. They wanted to push the boundaries of their typical brand so I used some of their existing brand elements while introducing bold, oversized headings, ample spacing between elements, and a modular, flat graphic treatment that gives it a fresh and youthful vibe.

I created the site to be flexible and have sections easily moved around and repurposed so that the team at Alaska could easily maintain the site on their own. When I handed off the final product, it included a “reusable modules” document that showed each section, or block, that was available, how to use it, and why type of content it could contain.

Another exciting feature is that the site is fully accessible for people with disabilities. I designed and developed the site to be WCAG 2.0 compliant.

I was subcontracted by Skyhook Interactive to create the HTML, CSS, and some PHP for this custom WordPress build. We used Advanced Custom Fields to build custom components that the client could use on the backend to manage the design and content of the site.

The Couture Book business creates high-end hand-made photo books for professional photographers. The business had an antiquated Flash website that needed an overhaul. I designed the site to reflect the elegance and sophistication that is found in the fashion “couture” industry. The Couture Book owners built the front end of the site with some of my assistance.

Horizon Air, a subsidiary of Alaska Airlines, needed to boost interest in pilot recruitment. I designed this microsite to have an exciting, promotional feel. The “Pilot Compensation” page is the highlight of the site as it is the most important page. Most of the animations are controlled by the user’s scrolling motion. This creates interest and engagement and helps keep users on the page longer. I built the “Pilot Compensation page”, Direct Employment built the rest.

Designed from scratch and built by hand, this beautiful mobile-friendly website is helping to position North Tahoe Commercial at the top of the real estate food chain in the upscale Lake Tahoe area. I created the designs and wrote the HTML and CSS for the initial pages, then handed them off to the talented Veronica Cannon at Lake Tahoe Online to complete the build.

This interactive experience was a unique challenge. Dell needed a “web site” that would function on a 7′ wide touch screen in their booth at a conference. Metia Solutions contracted me to work with their developers to create this touch-friendly customer journey.
